A look back
When I started this blog back in May, I did not really have a clear focus of what I was going to talk about. I viewed it more as a way for me to get some things out of my head. My posting was a bit sporadic until I made up a posting schedule in June as I had seen on Zen habits. Of course, I would come to amend that later on when I realized that weekends were just too full for blogging.
In June I was complaining about how I could not get a decent job with my MBA. Then I ended up unemployed in the late summer. Only to find myself getting a new job in November that paid about $15,000 more than my previous job. So, all that whining in June was for nothing. :)
Here’s a look back…
My best headlines of 2007: Sallie Mae is not my BFF; for the love of god, not while you’re peeing!
My fave posts I’ve written of 2007: 20 Ways to Simplify Your Life; 20 ways I define ‘healthy’; Feng Shui: crap or craptastic?; 41 ways to de-stress; Saving a sibling from debt; Chica with Issues personal list of 25 things she’d love to do; One week positivity challenge update 11/4/07; Working on becoming a minimalist, part two: Who needs all that furniture?; Turning debt reduction into a crazy game
My most popular posts of 2007: Saving a sibling from debt; 7 money-related things that I regret doing; A guide to the best personal finance websites and resources; Drive by communicating; All the dumb people on eBay buy my stuff; Getting on the road to financial success; Debt has really strong shackles and chains; Working on becoming a minimalist, part one: Start with your closet; Skip the gym membership and get a Wii instead; My focus on debt reduction has made me the office leper; I don’t have the right package to get a business-related job
And from looking at the most popular posts, it is clear to see that my money issues posts are the more popular. But not a lot of them make it onto my list of favorite posts. Oddly enough, personal development issue posts seem to be my favorite and they are the ones that I struggle with the most when it comes time to write!
