One Snarky Chica with Issues

I am all about getting free stuff for little or no effort. One of the ways that I do that is by taking advantage of “rewards websites.” Two of the most popular rewards websites that I use are MyPoints and E-rewards.

In case you are not familiar with these sites, let me give you some info on them.

MyPoints gives you a chance to earn points by clicking on links in emails and by shopping using links on their site. Then you take your MyPoints and redeem them for gift cards. They have tons of places you can get gift cards for from Amazon.com to Wal-Mart to Red Lobster to Home Depot.

E-Rewards on the other hand is not so overflowing with redemption options. At E-rewards you earn rewards in a dollar amount called ‘e-rewards currency’ that you redeem for gift cards or things like hotel points or magazine subscriptions. You earn E-rewards through surveys you take that they send to you by email.

It is free to join both programs but for E-rewards you must join through one of their sponsors.

Personally, I prefer MyPoints over E-rewards as there are more point earning opportunities as well as more options when it comes time to redeem for the rewards. Yay free stuff!
