One Snarky Chica with Issues

For me, living in an apartment is a smart choice because I move around  a lot. Since I left home for college I do not think that I have stayed in the same city more than 2 years consecutively. And I say consecutively as I have moved back to some of them for a brief period before moving away again. So I think having a mortgage that tied me to a place would just kill me.

But sometimes I really hate living in an apartment.

Over the weekend it snowed like there was no tomorrow here. And I live on the top floor and apparently the roof here leaks when there is a lot of snow on it. And it just so happens that it leaks right over the toilet. That’s great as far as having a great place to catch the leak. But not so great if you have to pee.

Then today, I went to go to the store and I get outside and they have not cleaned the walkways, the road - nothing! I can see the main road from here and it is totally clear. Yet there is still a good foot of snow on the roads in my apartment complex. Now this is a big apartment complex with a lot of people, so there should be enough money to pay someone to come and plow some freaking snow!

And those are the times that I wish I didn’t live in an apartment.
