Sneak more fruit into your diet

As someone that is trying to eat healthy I am always looking for ways to work more fruits and veggies into my diet. And I have found that I really do not get as much fruit as I would like. Do you know why that is?

I’m lazy!

I don’t like having to deal with washing strawberries or peeling oranges and what not. And I like fruit! But sometimes the prep work is just not worth it to me. So, I spend a lot of time looking for other ways to get my fruit in - you know, lazy ways.

I noticed at my local Target in their freezer section you get can a big bag of frozen blueberries or strawberries where there are little snack packs in this big bag. Those are perfect for me! No prep work needed!

But sometimes you can’t deal with something that is frozen. So, here are a few of the staples I have added to my pantry.

The links above are to Amazon but you can find all of these things at your local grocery store - provided your grocery store has an organic food aisle. I can get all of these things at my local Whole Foods. Kroger grocery stores carry Larabar Bars. And Target carries the Fruit Leather. So, check around and you can probably find it. Although, I sometimes order from Amazon if it is something that I will eat a lot of cause it can be cheaper that way. Plus I find that the items are fresher from Amazon (fruit leather is not as hard and the Larabar Bars are easier to chew).
