Things that annoy me
It seems that lately every time I leave the apartment I have to deal with something on my pet peeve list. And that gets me all irritated. And who wants to be irritated? Not me, it makes it harder to focus on getting things done.
Here are the things that have been particularly annoying to me the past few days:
1. People that try to turn right from the middle lane - when I am in the right lane! I can’t even begin to count how often this happens. It is like an epidemic here in Southern California. And I drive a big ole SUV so it’s not like I’m invisible! But I just really hate having to slam on my brakes and hope that some idiot doesn’t turn into my car.
2. Lazy mailman/ mailwoman. I live on the 3rd floor in my apartment complex. The mail area is conveniently located right by the elevator. But that does not stop the mailperson from being totally lazy. As in, they do not bring me packages! Very annoying.
3. Stores that do not have a separate line or desk for returns. I had to make a return the other day and there was no return desk or return line. Instead I had to wait in the general line, which took 20 minutes!!
4. Stores that process an exchange by refunding the money for the return items to your debit card and then let you buy the items you were exchanging for. It’s retarded and it’s extra steps. Why must they do this?
5. Stores that won’t let you out the door without seeing your receipt. They don’t really look at them anyway so why hassle me. Nevermind the fact that it’s totally not legal. Wankers.
6. Stores that ask for my ID even though The Consumerist taught me that it is in violation of their merchant agreement if they do.
7. Stores where the employees follow you around like you’re going to nick their stuff.
Okay, I think that is about it
If anyone else wants to vent, feel free!

Inconsiderate SOBs! I hate drivers. Some. Not all. I hate the ones that don’t signal or cut across 3 lanes to exit.
